Its hard times and Mom is now in an assisted living and refuses to take government money. So, we are liquidating her meager estate. I really hate to part with something that's been in the Smith, Brounet, Otto, and we, the Davis family for 200 years of American History.
Intersting note , if I may, my ancestor, direct line, also was an early colonist who settled East Hampton , L.I., NY in 1648 along with 75 other migrants from North of Boston.) John Davis b. England 1606 , d. Stonington, CT 1696.
I just hope that someone who loves this piece as much as all of my Grandmas and Mom and 2 wives loved it. The turkey always tasted better on this server, I swear.
