I presently have a commission from a gentleman for 400 + Alamo soldiers. He is sending me 100 at a time. There are a number of your guys in the box. The fellow is inquiring as to what soldiers, besides Conte, he should get.
I have a problem with the 'bubbles' that you warn about. Also there are some with the bayonet tips broken like mine were. I am fully capable of repairing and converting figures. Can you send me some more bayonet tips and also the plumes at the top of the Shako hat Mexicans? (there are two with these broken also)
I have successfully repaired the couple we had spoken about and that you so graciously sent me parts for. And thanks too for the extra guy.

What is the best way you have found for repairing the 'bubble holes'? I have 'Squadron' fast drying putty. Should I use this? Just give me a tip as to application and removal to minimize the time spent as I am getting paid per soldier.
I will be happy to recommend your line to the gentleman once we get starightened out/

PS I have a client who has about 50 of your figures along with 100's of Contes I wrote you a message about this and you didnt respond. There are about five with the broken bayonets. I dont want to inform him of this damage until I know that you can help him out by either replacing the figures (perferably) or at least sending me another n=bag of bayonet ends. After I primed some they broke off very easily Some came in his lossely packed box to me broken. Nevertheless, I want to keep a mutual client happy Please advise, OK?

To be specific, since you 'wondered'..I had 4 second offers come through and 4 outside sales from my client base all go down at the same time...That's besides the registered sales ending these last few days..and painting 100 figures this week.......and..I have a disability in my painting hand (tho I do paint with both hands)
With this weather It flairs up wicked bad..Its called RSD...I got it 6 years ago, one month exactly after 9/11...I was attacked...My wrist was broken severely at which time I contracted RSD, Reflex sympathetic dystrophy, AKA Complex regional pain syndrome,which is incurable.

Its an illness, condition of the sympathetic nervous system...that which governs the 5 senses. It settles in the extremities where the senses do their thing...especially the hands and feet..mine is centered in my right dominant hand.
Since you've taken an interest in my situation,
(and I deem it such, not meddling, more like a decent uncle type, notwithstanding our probable age similarity) I thought it salient to apprise you of this as a disabled person needs to be afforded the same everything as a non-disabled person.
That means a modicum of understanding that incurable debilitating illnesses often cause issues. These are especially true with those of us who are gifted with extreme artistic and intellectual talents. Actually theory has it that those who have artistic intellectual superiority , who also tend towards issues, are more prone to procure RSD than others.

I happened upon your website and found it hilarious. I'd done some transactions w/ Rick starting with simple ebays about a year ago and then he moved us to larger negotiated deals off-ebay. It became clear that Rick would cut corners whenever he tho't he could get away with it, and then react with righteous indignation (well, it's probably not righteous given his propensity of profanity) when I'd call him on sending defective or mislabeled product. Anyway, I'm curious if he still stalks you, or if the August 2010 "let's be friends" email was the end of his rants toward you (which is about the time he first became obnoxious with me, although he's come back to me several times thereafter, primarily because he's in desperate need of money). I'm also curious if ebay ever was responsive if/when you raised issues about Rick's questionable practices? I suspect they're just focused on profit and don't care about the quality of their sellers unless and until claims can be brought under their buyer protection process. Anyway, just call me curious.

Basically folks This felon Rick Davis is a lying, cheating, scumbag. I hope this information helps others from getting taken by this guy.... Be smart...
